KANT & KOPF Hamburg, HafenCity
KANT UND KOPF: A pioneering project for sustainable working and living in Hamburg's HafenCity.
KANT UND KOPF is an innovative construction project scheduled for completion in Hamburg's HafenCity at the end of 2026. The building complex is in a prime location directly on the Elbe in the Strandkai district. The concept combines state-of-the-art office space with retail and gastronomy in a sustainable and elegant architectural design. A green roof terrace and a unique view round off the high-quality mixed-use concept.
The project is characterized by its sustainable building concept. Geothermal energy is used for heating and cooling, while electricity is generated by a large-scale photovoltaic system on the roof and façade. This reduces CO2 emissions during the construction and operation of the building by more than a third. In addition, 1,580 square meters of intensive greenery will give a piece of green space back to nature. The KANT UND KOPF will be certified with the HafenCity Platinum Ecolabel and the LEED Platinum Label2.
As part of HafenCity, Europe's largest inner-city urban development project, KANT UND KOPF sets new standards for sustainable and vibrant urban development. It fits seamlessly into an area that combines living, working, experiencing and recreation on 157 hectares and enhances the quality of life in Hamburg.
KANT UND KOPF wants to be more than just an office building. It creates a forward-looking working environment that promotes health, inspiration and motivation. Natural materials, pleasant room acoustics, green spaces for breaks and state-of-the-art office equipment are designed to increase the creativity and well-being of users.
