Intercity Hotel Hamburg certified DGNB Gold

The German Sustainable Building Council has rated the quality of the InterCity Hotel in Hamburg with a certificate in "Gold". The façade is designed by ingenhoven architects. The 50-meter-high 3-star hotel is located close to the New Trade Fair, which has been planned and built by ingenhoven architects too. The hotel is visually characterized by folded, tapered, vertical and horizontal stripes which cover up the perforated façade. These white, large-format sheet-metal elements make an analogy to the "White Trade Fair".
