ENERGY GLOBE AWARD 2014 for 1 Bligh, Sydney
Christoph Ingenhoven received the ENERGY GLOBE AWARD 2014 for 1 Bligh in Sydney. The award is one of today`s most prestigious environmental awards and distinguishes the best projects with regard to sustainability, which conserve and protect our resources or employ renewable energy. The jury awarded 1 Bligh as the best project in Australia. The 139 meter High-Rise was constructed with a high amount of recycled concrete and steel. With its double glass facade the building achieves 15% energy saving regarding to cooling and climate control. 1 Bligh sets standards in sustainable construction and green design. “We will be able to design buildings, which brings us back to the situation in which we are living in harmony with the resources of this earth”, says Christoph Ingenhoven.
