University Hospital Ulm

The design for the extension of the Surgery Unit at the University Hospital, Ulm was awarded 4^th prize.

The four-storey, circular buildings are linked to one another by two vertical connection points. The spatial organisation and directions are clear for patients and visitors. The glazed buildings make reference to their surroundings and offer individual day rooms for patients and optimum working conditions for hospital personnel.
