BAUWELT KONGRESS 2015 - Lecture by Christoph Ingenhoven on 13 November
This year's Bauwelt Kongress will take place in Berlin on 12 and 13 November on the subject "Zukunft Energiewende" (future: change in energy policy). It asks "How radically architecture and urbanism have to change - and what is really happening?"
On the second day of the congress Christoph Ingenhoven will hold a lecture on sustainable architecture under the heading supergreen ®
Supergreen is the core competence of ingenhoven architects and means an awareness of energy and resources, both during the design and construction phase as well as during a building’s operation and entire life-cycle use. Supergreen combines innovative technical quality with an aesthetic ambition, based on clear, flexible and rational layouts and modern, elegant design including pleasant and regenerating interiors.
This holistic approach is an expression of a responsible attitude towards problems such as climate change and resource depletion. As buildings in many countries account for about one third of all resources consumed, sustainable building can make a crucial contribution to improving this global situation.
The lecture takes place on Friday 13 November at 11:30am at the Kino International in Berlin. Registration at http://kongress.bauwelt.de/anmeldung/
