Groundbreaking Toranomon Tokyo on 18th January 2017

The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Toranomon office building in Tokyo will be held on 18th January 2017. Mori Building Corp. is currently developing the Toranomon area of Tokyo into a new business and lifestyle precinct. A new office tower (height approx. 185 m) and a residential tower – with 220 m the highest residential building in Japan – will be built on both sides of the existing Toranomon Hills Mori Tower (height approx. 250 m). The design of the two new towers respects the taller central tower but will create an own identity as focus points in the larger green urban network. The groundbreaking of the residential tower will take place one week later.
