Christoph Ingenhoven – Speaker at Architecture Matters in Munich
Architecture Matters, the international conference on the future of architecture and cities, takes place from 11-12 April from in the Old Academy Munich.
This year's motto is "THINK BIG! Great Ideas, Large Scale Project and Disaster ".
Christoph Ingenhoven gives the opening lecture entitled "Learning from Asia". Exemplary projects of the office ingenhoven architects, including Marina One in Singapore, are presented and discussed.
In addition, the founder and owner of ingenhoven architects will participate in a panel discussion on "THINK BIG! Spectacular Projects, Everyday Life & Leaving the Comfort Zone "together with Franz-Josef Höing, Regula Lüscher, Elisabeth Merk and Tobias Sauerbier.
The immediate idea of Architecture Matters is to discuss the future of architecture and the city with all relevant stakeholders - architects, real estate, politics. At its core, it is about the search for essentiality, for something that is bigger than us. Grasping the upheavals of our time, trusting in the productive power of opposites. Surprise and make curious. Create a space in which people can meet, so that the lived contacts grow something that is carried on.
