National Energy Globe Awards, for 1 Bligh Sydney, 2014
The national Energy Globe Awards are given to a country’s best project submissions (e.g. Energy Globe Austria, Energy Globe Argentina). With 177 participating nations, the Energy Globe Award is currently the largest and most important environmental prize worldwide. It is awarded every year for projects that make a contribution to the careful use of resources, the improvement of air and water quality, to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and to enhancing awareness in these fields. In 2014, the high-rise project at 1 Bligh in Sydney by ingenhoven architects received the Energy Globe Australia award.
