Dipl.-Ing. [FH] Architect, Senior Director
As Senior Director at ingenhoven architects, Rudolf Jonas is jointly responsible for the design and implementation of numerous projects in the field of multi-tenanted buildings for private investors. A project of special note is the Sky Office in Düsseldorf. Having completed his architectural studies at Trier University of Applied Sciences, he started his career at ingenhoven architects in 1991 where he was appointed Director in 2007.
Rudolf Jonas also designs and implements projects for public clients with a focus on research and development, for example the Center for Silicium Photovoltaics of the Fraunhofer Society at Halle an der Saale. Furthermore, the new construction of Neue Messe Hamburg took place under his management between 2004 and 2009.
Of special interest is the fact that Rudolf Jonas has detailed experience of all construction aspects relating to buildings listed as historic monuments. Outstanding examples are the conversion of the American General Consulate in Düsseldorf and the change of use and revitalization of a former grain silo at Düsseldorf’s port.
